The student teaching experience is one of the most impactful capstone experiences for preparation preservice teachers. supervisor, either a cooperating teacher or university plays critically important role in experience. purpose this study was to explore teachers' perceived motivation and independence throughout their It recommended that early experience, directive supervision style should be utilized. Then, as starts decline middle focus shift providing moral support encouraging commitment profession teaching. Recommendations future research include replication with cohorts teachers across multiple institutions so data trends can analyzed longitudinally.
